1. Best thing about teaching?

Making a difference.

2. Best city you've ever visited/lived in?

I spent four years in York for higher education, and it's such an amazing place.  If it weren't so expensive I would return in a heartbeat.

3. A song you listen to when happy/sad?

Keane - Somewhere Only We Know

4. Biggest education inspiration?

My line manager (Sarah) - I've learned more about teaching from her than anyone else, anywhere.

5. Describe your TTR shows in one word

Variety.

6. Favourite TTR guest (on one of your shows)

The Paramours - Tim and Zoë.  They make teaching writing sound so easy.

7. Favourite TTR episode (of yours) so far and why?

The NEU Leadership Debate.  Great to talk to two candidates so passionate about helping teachers.

8. Your teaching philosophy?

Knowledge is power.  But it's what you do with it that counts.

9. Best bit of advice you ever got?

Don't take criticism personally.  Usually, it's someone with their own job to do.

10. Dream guest on your TTR show?

Any Education Secretary past or present.  Even Gavin Williamson.
