1. Best thing about teaching?
Seeing people grow and flourish. Being a tiny part and instigating a opportunity where children find their voice, be immensely proud of an achievement or coaching teachers who themselves see a light bulb moment that changes their practice and the impact it has on the pupils. Also, aren’t children great at having conversations about all sorts of things.

2. Best city you've ever visited/lived in?
Italy - a cop out I know - but before my children we did a tour across Rome, Florence, Lake Como and Venice. The food. The people. The hospitality and way of life I loved as it allowed me to slow down and enjoy the pace of life.

3. A song you listen to when happy/sad?
Cat Stevens. It was a favourite of my father in law who passed last year. Brings back memories.

4. Biggest education inspiration?
Jeez that changes. Peps Mccrea. His approach, manor and books capture an essence I want to inhibit myself.
